Hey, it’s Ezzinth.
I’ve been waiting for this moment for a while, and I’m really glad to finally let you hear it.
Today marks the release of the very first excerpt from Starlight Transmission. Just a fragment for now, a glimpse into something bigger that’s been growing in the background.
You can listen to this preview here:
A melody stuck in my head
This track started with an image that stayed with me.
A retrofuturistic city in 3089. Neon lights, quiet streets, and a kid sitting alone on a hill, trying to make sense of things. He brings a small radio with him, more out of habit than anything else. Then something unexpected happens. A signal cuts through the static. Something distant. Something alive.
Then quickly i had this melody stuck in my head. That moment became the core of the track. What you're listening is not a song about this boy, it is what he hears.
Musically, I wanted to capture that feeling of discovery. The kind that hits you softly at first, then slowly takes over. There’s a mix of warm synth layers, a steady pulse, and small melodic details that feel like echoes coming from far away. It sits somewhere between synthwave and chiptune, with a strong focus on atmosphere and emotion.
I kept the structure simple on purpose. The idea was to let the sound breathe and give space to that “first contact” feeling. You’ll hear it in the way the melody unfolds, almost like a conversation starting to form.
This first excerpt is only the beginning. The full track goes deeper into that story, exploring what that signal really means and how it changes everything for the one who hears it.
If you connect with it, even just a little, that means a lot to me.
More soon.
