I’m excited to finally share some news with you: my new single Last Broadcast will be released at the end of September. This one means a lot to me, both musically and emotionally, and I can’t wait for you to hear it. I would like to share this first preview with you, and I hope you are as excited as I am!
A farewell that still echoes
Last Broadcast is more than just another track—it’s a tribute to a very specific memory. Back in the 90s, there was a moment when an entire generation realized that a beloved chapter of their childhood had come to an end. It was the final signal, the last goodbye of a world filled with Saturday mornings, bright colors, unforgettable theme songs, and heroes we all looked up to.
I still remember the bittersweet feeling of that moment. It was both comforting and heartbreaking: comforting because those memories would never leave us, and heartbreaking because we knew we were growing up and moving on. That emotional duality inspired me to write Last Broadcast.
When endings become melodies
Musically, this track leans more heavily on synthwave’s cinematic and emotional side. Sweeping synths and driving basslines set the tone, building an atmosphere that feels both nostalgic and futuristic. Compared to some of my other releases, Last Broadcast is less about playful chiptune melodies and more about crafting a spacious, heartfelt soundscape—like a signal slowly fading into static.
It’s a song about transmission, memory, and closure. A sonic farewell that carries the echoes of the past into the future.
The single will be available on all streaming platforms at the end of September. Until then, I’ll be sharing more snippets and behind-the-scenes details. I hope this track resonates with you as much as it did with me when I wrote it.
Stay tuned,
Ezzinth
