Today is release day.
Starlight Transmission is officially out now, and I’m really excited to finally share the full track with you.
This single has been growing in my mind for a long time. It started with a very clear image: a boy alone on a hill, a retrofuturistic city glowing below him, a small radio beside him, and a strange signal suddenly coming from somewhere far beyond the stars. That image became the emotional center of the track, and everything else was built around it.

Starlight Transmission by Ezzinth: A Signal from 2089
The story behind the song takes place in 2089. A melancholic young boy climbs above the city to think, to breathe, and to get away from the noise for a moment. While he sits there in the night, his radio catches a mysterious transmission from deep space.
He has no idea where it comes from. He has no idea why it reached him. He only knows that something has changed.
That scene guided the whole sound of the single. I wanted the music to feel like a light appearing in the distance, like a message crossing space and time, like a spark arriving at the exact moment someone needs it.
Starlight Transmission brings together a lot of what I love as Ezzinth: synthwave energy, chiptune colors, retrofuturistic imagery, and melodies that try to tell a story without needing words. I wanted the track to feel cinematic, emotional, and full of movement, as if the listener was stepping into that moment with the boy and hearing the signal for the first time.
A New Release, A New Door Into the Ezzinth Universe
This release feels important to me because it opens a new chapter in the world I’m building through my music. Every track has its own mood, its own scene, its own little story, and Starlight Transmission is one of the clearest visions I’ve had so far.
I spent a lot of time shaping the atmosphere of this single. The melodies, the textures, the rhythm, the little details in the sound design all of it was made to carry that feeling of mystery and wonder. I wanted the track to feel nostalgic and futuristic at the same time, like an old memory coming from a place that hasn’t existed yet.
That contrast is something I love deeply, and it sits at the heart of this release.
