In one week, Starlight Transmission will finally be out.
Writing this feels kind of unreal, because I’ve been living with this song for a while now.
It started as a mood, then an image, then a story, and little by little it became a track I really wanted to share. Now we’re only seven days away from release day, and I’m honestly very happy to finally say it clearly: Starlight Transmission comes out on May 22.
This song was born from a scene I had in mind from the very beginning. In 2089, in a retrofuturistic city, a lonely boy goes up to a hill to think and breathe for a moment. He sits there with his radio and catches a strange signal coming from deep space. He doesn’t know it yet, but that moment is about to change his life.
That little story stayed with me during the whole process.
The Story Behind Starlight Transmission
While I was making this single, I kept thinking about feelings that are hard to explain in simple words. Solitude. Wonder. Nostalgia. That strange emotion you get when something unexpected reaches you and makes the world feel bigger all at once.
I wanted the music to carry that feeling from start to finish. I wanted it to sound like light in the distance, like a memory you can almost touch, like a message traveling through the night until it finds the right person. Every melody and every texture was built around that idea.
I think this track says a lot about what Ezzinth is for me. It has the retro feeling I love, the synthwave energy, the chiptune sparkle, and that cinematic side that always finds its way into my music. It feels emotional, a little dreamy, and full of movement. In many ways, it feels like a door opening into this universe.
Getting close to release day also makes everything more concrete. Sharing the first visuals and teasers already made this release feel alive, and seeing that some of you connected with that atmosphere has genuinely meant a lot to me.
More to Come on my social media
This last week before release is going to be special. I still have a few things to share with you before the full track arrives, and I’m excited to make these final days part of the journey too. You'll find all of it on my Tiktok and Instagram accounts.
Thank you for being here, for following along, and for giving this project your time and attention. I put a lot of myself into Starlight Transmission, and I can’t wait for you to hear it in full on May 22.
