Today I’m really happy to share something close to my heart: Starlight Transmission will be released on May 22.
This song means a lot to me. It has lived in my head for a long time as an atmosphere, a scene, a feeling, and finally became music. I wanted it to sound like a message carried through the night sky, something distant and glowing, something intimate and bigger than life at the same time.
The story behind Starlight Transmission takes place in a retrofuturistic city in 2089. A melancholic young boy climbs to the top of a hill to think, breathe, and step away from the noise below. There, with his radio beside him, he catches a strange signal rising from the depths of space. He has no idea that this moment will change his life.
The Universe Behind Starlight Transmission
While I was building this single, I kept thinking about loneliness, wonder, memory, and the kind of hope that appears when something unexpected enters your world. I wanted every synth line, every texture, and every melody to feel like a fragment of that signal. The music carries that sense of distance and connection, like hearing a voice from the stars and understanding, somehow, that it was meant to reach you.
If you know my universe already, you’ll recognize that mix of nostalgia, emotion, and cosmic energy that shapes Ezzinth. If this is your first time here, I think this single is a beautiful place to begin. Starlight Transmission brings together the dreamy side of synthwave, the sparkle of chiptune, and the cinematic feeling that has inspired me since the start of this project.
The Signal Has Only Just Begun
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing more around the release, including visuals and a closer look at the world surrounding the song. I really wanted this announcement to come directly from me, because this release feels personal. It marks an important step in the journey of Ezzinth, and I’m excited to finally put a date on it and let it move toward you.
So here it is: Starlight Transmission - out May 22.
Thank you for being here, for listening, and for giving this music a place in your time and your imagination. I can’t wait for you to hear the full track and step into this signal with me.
